Guiding Every Step From Uncertainty to Opportunity
Some students grow up surrounded by options. Others grow up surrounded by obstacles. LEIP was created for the latter: the students and families from historically marginalized communities who often struggle with these limitations. Founded by Leasha Cherry, a former school social worker who’s walked those same uncertain halls, LEIP exists to replace confusion with clarity, and hesitation with hope, making the path from high school to college less overwhelming and more achievable.

At the heart of LEIP’s identity is its icon. Inspired by the intercardinal directions and depicting a crossroad, symbolizing the many paths ahead for students choosing their next step, for parents navigating unfamiliar systems, and for stakeholders shaping opportunity. Where they meet sits the star: the student, a mark of excellence at the heart of a connected community, guiding them toward their best-suited path.
Simple, memorable, and adaptable, the mark works in both vibrant color and monochrome. A clean, unobtrusive wordmark supports the icon, balancing its energy with grounded professionalism.
Arrows of Excellence






We developed two core patterns to extend LEIP’s visual language. The first, built from the star and X in the icon, carries forward the themes of guidance and excellence at the heart of the brand. The second, drawn from the arrows; are four upward-facing diagonal arrows depicting movement, aspiration, and progress. This is also where the vibrant accent colors shine most, adding energy and optimism, while the purple and white base keeps the system grounded and trustworthy.
